Flipkart - Manager - Control Tower - City Logistics Operations

Job purpose:

To plan and carry out analysis for performance improvement of City Logistics operations - creation of reports, analysis of the data and presenting the same for decision making. The applicant should be willing to take up additional job responsibility based on changes and should strive for a larger role within the department.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Maintain and develop key matrices to monitor and improve Last mile and First Mile operations performance

2. Problem solving and Ideation for improved performance of Supply chain.

3. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.

4. Drive short/mid/long term projects for improvement in operations processes in collaboration with Design, Product, Tech, Analytics and all other stakeholder functions

5. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills required for the work.

Personality: Ability to perform multiple tasks, adjust quickly in short time frame with limited direct supervision. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality work and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior management. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other's point of view. Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to a few days a month, if required. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Ability to create rapport with internal and external stakeholders and build a team environment.

Specific Job Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to leverage large datasets to support business decisions by telling story with data

Computer skills: MS Office Basic and Advanced (Particularly Excel), Additional programming or analytical tools knowledge will be an advantage. R Language /Phython /Power bi

Education: Graduate/Post-graduate with Specialization in Operations and Supply Chain

Work Experience: 5+ years in similar profile, Prior working knowledge in Operations excellence
