Head/Lead - Retail Operations

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

- Contribute to the development and refinement of Retail Ops vision and strategy for Flipkart

- Lead the process design, to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium and long-term cash flows and returns, prepare the job ecosystem to adapt the design and drive adherence using controls and behavioral shaping

- Liaise with other executive heads on the implementation of the strategic and operational plans

- Ensure that the entire upstream operations for Retail are run effectively and efficiently so that each activity is performed in line with their strategic plan, developmental plan, and operational plan objectives

- Maintain the administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison on all company affairs at a level acceptable to various surrounding functions

- Operations and controls; implement, maintain and manage an effective system of controls throughout the Retail Processes, covering non-financial as well as financial controls;

- Ensure that operating objectives and standards of performance are owned by management as well as employees

Skills

- Strategic thinking with amazing execution skills

- Prior Experience in Lean / Six Sigma is desirable

- Sound tactical decision-making skills

- Good project and time management skills

- Strong Ability to run operations thru numbers

- Sound knowledge of finance, technology (ERP) and administration

Desirable candidate should have at least 6+ years of experience post MBA, BE/B.Tech from Tier 1 Institutions

Should have held at least 3 years in leadership roles in a high growth business
