About the Role

- A seasoned research professional with passion for consumer insighting and outsighting

- A professional who has in depth understanding of qualitative and quantitative methodologies along with Digital ecosystem.

- A research lead who can independently understand the business requirement and design a customised solution for the specific requirement.

- Passionate researcher who is willing to go beyond the obvious and existing. Connect the dots and create a whole story.

- No to mediocrity.

You are responsible for:

- Would contribute to Brand building, communication development, assessing the brand health and key actionables, consumer programs and customer experience charter and liaison with Marketing, Category, Product and tech teams for the same.

- Develop deeper understanding of the categories that you will manage, their business and their consumer segments, make this insight actionable for the categories and identify the emerging trends ahead of time.

- Create customised solution for all business requirements, create actionable solutions with customer first lens and play an integral part in execution.

- Identify the levers to run a successful business - new initiatives by FK and existing businesses - customer insights driven.

- Custodian of customer and be the independent and neutral voice of the customer in the organisation.

You should have:

- Ability to simplify the business problems and translate them into business asks, be able to create comprehensive business solutions with deep customer connect

- Deep understanding of the various methodologies and applications of the same as per the business problem. Definitely one stroke for all business problems will NOT work at FK

- Be comfortable with offline, online and digital ecosystems - NLP, social media listening, Passive monitoring

- Designing complex and large researches for the category - like Segmentation and U&A, conjoint and business sizing (volumetrics).

- Have a point of view regarding the business solutions as proposed as part of the research. Create a holistic understanding of the business and not just a task on hand.

- Development of tech forward and innovative, expert research agencies ecosystem so that FK always works with the best!

- Be able to translate the consumer insights into business solutions (or atleast drive the insights closer to the solutioning).

- Peeling insights from deeper depths and Perfect story telling and presentation skills are an absolute must for this role.

- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in research and business/client side - a combination of the 2 is preferred.

Core competencies

- Understands the business and business issues.

- Is proactive rather than reactive, understands well where to plug different type of research tools to better answer the customer issues.

- Stakeholder management - good command on the business issues/ condition and able to navigate the customer conversations.

- Identifies research opportunities and customizes research opportunities to suit business needs

- Understands the various tools and techniques used in qualitative research

- Has an understanding of when and where are the tools and techniques to be used

- Expert understanding of Brand Tracking, Customer Segmentation, Conjoint based studies, Pricing, Volumetrics and market sizing, diagnostics and U&A.

- Is able to translate and condense the findings through data into actionable insights

- Work with business on converting the insights into action points to give rise to new opportunities

- Is able to evaluate the research output against the brief and make recommendations

- Picks out actionable items and pointers avoiding an overload - story telling is prime (connecting the dots)

- Is able to modify existing research methods to provide insights to solve business problems

- Connects with the team and charts the progression path for the team.

- Team player and good fit with FK culture and values - ABC I&I, Innovative in her approach. Ever challenging the status quo and out of box thinking to keep pace and stay ahead of emerging consumer trends.
