- The below role is part of this launch team of FK Fashion Pvt Label.

Location : Bangalore

Job Description :

Product Development : Work closely with design team to create winning products. Driving right raw material, fits, Landed costs and quality.

- Develop framework for sampling and size/fit development.

- Setup the sourcing supplier base for the specific category from scratch - both raw material and finished goods.

- Frame the right vendor management practices and benchmarks for the category. Drive down costs while enhancing quality.

- Identify the clusters for supplier base and prioritize clusters - both domestic & international

- Manage large aggregators and drive business and negotiations

Desired skills and experience :

- Educational background - NIFT Graduate / MBA

- Product development & sourcing for Women's wear(Ethnic and western), Menswear or Accessories.

- Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills

- Strong understanding of technology and business

- Must be willing to learn

- Ability to connect with people across teams & levels

- Strong bias for Action - Flipkart works at a very rapid pace

- Worked in product development/ sourcing or in buying house as merchandisers or in a mid / large sized brand.

- Knowledge of India /China sourcing

- Strong in costing and negotiation.
