Our technology has enabled us to deliver 5 million shipments per month - and this number's only growing.   Position: Associate Director - Procurement ( Infra & Projects )  Position Overview:   The Associate Director - PROJECT & INFRA Procurement is responsible for being the single point of contact for to provide hand-on Leadership support for procurement for the Project & Infrastructure procurement activities for all Flipkart- s Expansions at Pan India / Regional Level. Defining and successfully implementing procurement strategies in Project & Infra Function on the basis of procurement plan, identify solution approach and integrating various objects in order to achieve division/department goals.   Areas of responsibility include and do not limit to Infra procurement for the following categories viz.. SCM, Projects, Civil & Infra, Facilities at Pan India & manage key external vendors for any New or renewal of office equipment, Products or service contracts.   This position is responsible for developing a long-term strategy with suppliers and vendors to achieve financial and service level targets. In addition to working with all areas of facility, the incumbent will also manage and build facility Procurement team and partner with other functions like Facilities, Projects, Finance, Supply chain, and legal to develop sourcing strategy, negotiation tactics and manage contract terms and conditions while minimizing Flipkart liability/exposure.   Additionally, the AD Procurement - PROJECT & INFRA will create metrics for each contract and measure the vendor's and Flipkart's adherence and performance against those metrics and report the findings to senior leadership  Responsibilities:  - This role is responsible to drive & support facility, Infra related Procurement activities  - Expertise in Green Field Project & Facility Management Procurement.  - To handle complete project requirement of Architectural, PMC, Civil Constructions, Structural, Interiors, Electrical, HVAC, FPS/FAS, ETP/STP plant,  - To identify potential supplier and prequalify set of supplier for the project requirement jointly with internal customer.  - Procurement & Finalization of Office fit out, Retrofit, AMC, Interiors for Various sizes on Pan India basis.   - Evaluate the suppliers along with users on various parameters with defined set of process and internal tool for supplier evaluation and rate supplier on their merits.  - Prepare the internal estimate for the project requirement to obtain management approval for project budget.  - Prepare the complete timeline for the ordering process and adhere the agreed timeline committed to the management.  - Derive at procurement and negotiation strategies for individual packages to achieve the planned/projected savings to Flipkart   - Work in identification of new vendors to develop future roadmap for Infrastructure & Support services to enhance overall Customer and employee experience.   - Ensure a quick turnaround time for to meet the customer requirements for a PR to PO process.   - Work with the stake holders and vendors to effectively Plan, develop and implement a strategy to operationalize facility management services or administrative procurement so as to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales.  - RFX activities, Supplier selection, Supplier Due diligence, Negotiation, Tactical buying, Contract management (includes creation), Catalogue Management (includes enablement), enhance P-card coverage,   - Supplier management, Statutory & Regulatory risk management, support audits, management reporting, and independent Stakeholder / Supplier / Client management.   - Implement effective procurement and supply chain strategies in support Flipkart's strategic plans  - Execute on commodity driven strategies for supplier rationalization and localization   - Negotiations: Finalization of Contracts. National contracts for Volume benefit, integration of services under single vendors, pooling Of demand & Increase contract coverage.   - MIS & Controlling (Commercial Functions): Saving details, Contract matrix, Procurement Reports & Adherence analysis.   - Ensuring documentation as per process and controlling procurement resources and activities   - Functions, Contract types, Laws covering contract & SCM Governance Activities.  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   - BE in Engineering, MS or MBA, preferred  - 15 plus years of experience working & managing the Infra & Projects procurement services at an manufacturing/IT/ITES/BPO industry.   - Experience working across multiple countries vendors, Pan India vendors, multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity, and emerging market awareness and experience.  - Demonstrated success required to in defining and implementing a sourcing strategy yielding year over year   - Experience in dealing with large number of suppliers with varied complexity and low supplier leverage.   - Excellent oral and written communication skills.  - Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, all functional areas.  - Strong IT knowledge aptitude.  - Knowledge of Import & Domestic taxes and apply for to achieve the best cost for the organization.   - Ability to travel.   Key Competencies:   - Infra, Facility & project (Civil, Electrical, HVAC, MEP, Interiors) procurement: Deliver savings through spend optimization & Business process redesign.  - Statutory & Regulatory Risk management  - Internal policy Governance, Control and SLA compliance  - Collaboration: Ability to influence change outside of direct organization.
