Location: Bengaluru

Essential Qualifications: BE Electrical

Experience: 10- 12 years

Industry: Construction Projects (Preferably Non-Residential like Industries/Warehousing/ Retail/Telecom/Construction)

Skill Set Required: 

- Possess a high level of Expertise and Experience in Design of Electrical Distribution Systems applicable to Large Industrial and Logistics Facilities with Awareness of Best Practices across Design Aspects like Efficiency, Safety, Redundancy and Green Principles.

- Possess Extensive Knowledge of Electrical related Project works as applicable to Large Industrial and Logistics Facilities

- Ability to Plan and Review Design of Electrical Distribution Systems for Large Industrial and Logistics Facilities with latest Best Practice Benchmarks

- Ability to review electrical proposals made by consultants on case to case basis

- Ability to Review Design of Layouts and Load List for Large Industrial and Logistics Facilities

- Plan and Review Selection & Sizing for Transformers, Cables, DG sets, Switchgear as applicable to Large Industrial and Logistics Facilities with latest Best Practice Benchmarks

- Ability to Plan and Review Selection & Sizing of UPS, Battery Chargers, Lighting, and Earthing basis calculation for Large Industrial and Logistics Facilities

- Ability to Review Design Documents like Single Line Drawing right from LV system until the Distribution panel

- Possess a High level of Awareness related to Electrical Equipment enabling the person to Review and Improve upon Engineering Specification, Data Sheets for various electrical equipment like Transformers, Switchgear, UPS, Cables, Lighting, Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems as per IS/IEC standards

- Ability to Guide and Review all Types of Electrical Plans for Lighting, Earthing & Power

- Ability to assess the Quality of Work carried out by Electrical contractors against the specifications and design

- Ability to make suggest and evaluate quick alternative proposals in case there is change in actual plan as per site constraints

- Ability to manage team of Engineers for building an In-house Team capable of Design of Electrical Systems

- Vendor and Internal stakeholder management

- Conversant with IS standards and relevant codes

- Conversant of Statutory compliances required as per law of land

- Knowledge of Logistics Related Lighting Principles like Lighting for Logistics Activities like Goods Inward, Picking, Packing, Consolidation, and Dispatch along with Lighting of Storage-Spaces like Racking & Shelving would be an added advantage
