Assistant Manager - Seller Acquisition (2-4 yrs)
Role:
Acquiring and nurturing strategically important selection from high quality sellers to meet marketplace objectives via a team of on-ground business development executives
In this role the person would be responsible for acquiring and nurturing high quality sellers through a team of 6-8 business development executives to meet selection and business targets within defined guardrails. The role involves 2-3 weeks of travel under normal circumstances.
Job description- Background in business development is mandatory - incumbent will have to be the kind who enjoys being on the field and convincing sellers to go online on Flipkart
- The role would require extensive travel in the region with a strong seller/manufacturer base
- The candidate will need to develop a thorough knowledge of relevant Flipkart processes and strong seller commercial understanding to operate on e-commerce
- Give sellers relevant inputs to be successful on the platform and develop long term relationships with them
- Candidates should be very comfortable with a target driven environment with daily reporting, calls etc.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a time bound fashion to unblock day to day operational issues
Desired skills and experience:- 1 to 4 years of experience in field sales from e-commerce, FMCG, FMCD, telecom
- Post-graduation preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to multi-task and work independently and as a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word / Excel
Soft Skills:- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High in energy and comfortable with a target driven environment
- Past people management experience will be an added advantage
