Associate Director- Acquisition & Selection - Grade 13

Role: Strategic Business Development role in the Acquisition & Selection team to design & execute Supply strategy at Platform level

Role Summary: This is a critical Sales & Business Development role based out of Bangalore and overseeing South and West Zone merchant acquisition & development for all strategic, long-term goals of Flipkart Marketplace. The role will have a large span with on-roll and off-roll team members distributed geographically in supply clusters.

What you need to have:

- Overall experience of 8-10 years post MBA from a Tier 1 institute

- Be an empathetic and inspirational people leader who can actively engage and problem-solve with the team to achieve ambiguous and audacious goals

- Comfortable with stakeholder management across levels and functions for this level of experience

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks as a horizontal role works with multiple functions at every point

- Be an example with a high energy, bias for action, clarity while problem solving and use metrics for decision making

- Candidate should be comfortable with and enjoy a fast-paced work environment and ambiguity to be able to design processes, improve them and put in place SOPs

- High metric orientation to define them, use them and alter them as the need maybe to accurately represent the business problem

- Creative thinker who enjoys solving problems by leveraging technological solutions

- Experience in technology, e-commerce, retail, program management would be an advantage

- Candidate should be open to travel to learn of the challenges being faced by the teams on the ground

- Have a capability and long-term view while understanding the challenges faced in improving daily operations
