Our journey so far :

About the founder :
Flexing It- has been founded by Chandrika Pasricha, who has over 17 years of consulting experience, the bulk of it with McKinsey & Co. Over the past few years, she has operated more independently, consulting with leading organisations in the Healthcare and Development domains.
Who are we looking for :
After focusing in the first 2 years on India, we are expanding the Flexing It- footprint to Singapore/SEA. To drive this, we are looking for a seasoned Business Development and Marketing professional who is energised about this idea and can lead our franchise in Singapore and the SEA region. We are looking to bring on a person who is extremely well-networked and has prior experience of business development, ideally in a services business.
A strong sense of ownership is a must, since he/she will be independently driving the marketing and revenue generation efforts locally, while receiving the support of the Flexing It- team in India.
Some of the qualities we would look for are :
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit
- Networking and business development skills
- 7+ years of work experience in consulting or business development and marketing
- Ability to pitch and convince senior management of top companies
- Preferably a business or marketing degree from a leading institution
- Personal and professional integrity
Key responsibilities :
The specific responsibilities will include the following :
- Developing and managing the outreach strategy across various segments of corporate users i.e. MNCs, start-ups, investors, developmental organizations
- Attending relevant events, conferences and seminars, pitching the concept and managing follow-up
- Thinking through and initiating discussions for strategic partnerships e.g., with industry associations, universities
- Coming up and executing the marketing and promotional ideas to enhance the outreach
- Identifying ideas for new features, and new products and services based on interactions with users and market/competition assessment
- Proposing and refining the outreach strategy based on data on skills, usage patterns, success rates for different types of roles and organisations
- Devising and implementing a robust offline marketing plan (including ATL and BTL) to support our growth objectives in the region
- Managing local PR and media agencies and ensuring excellence in partnership and output
- Providing oversight to the digital marketing strategy for Singapore/SEA and working with the central marketing team for the same
We are very open to creative structures including part-time capacity or project-based structures and are really looking to bring the right local partner on board. Given that Flexing It is a young start-up, candidates should expect compensation with a high variable component
