Fixed Income Dealer - Mutual Fund

Responsibilities:

- Trading in SLR and Non-SLR instruments as per CIO's order

- Daily monitoring of a portfolio regarding various limits checks in accordance with IRDAI guideline

- Daily cash flow management and overnight deployment of funds along with tracking system liquidity condition.

- Interacting with Primary Dealer, Bank and intermediaries for better execution of deals

- Tracking of parameter that affects the market and updating same to CIO

- Co-ordinating with Back Office and broker for trade settlement

- Execute trades in fixed income securities such as bonds, government securities, corporate bonds, and other debt instruments.

- Monitor market conditions and trends to identify trading opportunities and risks in the fixed income market.

- Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize returns while managing risks within established guidelines.

- Work closely with portfolio managers and investment analysts to execute trading strategies aligned with the investment objectives of the firm.

- Build and maintain relationships with counterparties, including brokers, dealers, and institutional investors.

- Monitor and analyze key macroeconomic indicators, interest rate movements, and credit spreads to make informed trading decisions.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures related to fixed income trading activities.

- Provide timely and accurate trade execution reports and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders.

- Collaborate with other teams, including risk management, operations, and compliance, to ensure smooth execution of trading activities.

- Stay updated on market developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes impacting the fixed income market.
