Product Manager - Search  Job Description :   As a Product Manager Search you will be responsible for ensuring performance of search either by improving search algorithms or by exploring better search tools & technologies. You will also be resposible for user experience and finding innovative ways of increasing user interaction by finding and quantifying opportunities though data analysis of user behaviour and user feedback.   Key Responsibilities :  - Evaluate different enterprise search tools & technologies such as Solr, Elastic Search etc. and recommend the best tools based on requirements  - Define search framework based on selected tool and work closely with development and QA teams to implement, test and maintain on the website  - Innovate, design & define UI/UX along with designers and senior management based on search goals, data insights and user feedback  - Understand user behavior and analyse and report metrics to measure search performance and derive insights  Desired Candidate Profile :   - Experience with any major search tools/technology such as Solr, Elastic Search or experience in building in-house search solutions  - Strong understanding of search algorithms& techniques and common issues & solutions for search.   - Proficient with SQL & web analytics tools to be able to analyse and improve search performance through data  - Should have experience in improving product/content discovery for a B2C website   - Experience with NLP or related tools is an added bonus  - Analytical mind-set with the ability to present clear and actionable ideas  - Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams  - Team player with a must-do attitude, and ability to work with geographically diverse teams  - Self-starter with ability to plan, prioritize and deliver   Company Profile :  ABOUT BRAINBEES SOLUTIONS :  Brainbees Solutions is a venture in the eCommerce industry with two three products FirstCry.com and WorldofMoms.com.
