What you will be doing : - You will be using quantitative and qualitative techniques for constructing portfolios plus analysing countries, sectors, securities globally and in India - which may be equity, and/or derivatives. - Drilling deep into company and sector dynamics, making detailed financial models and constantly monitoring the list of assigned companies. - Analyzing financial statements and develop investment thesis when required. - Developing and maintaining financial models. - Doing detailed research in which macro &amp; micro factors we should code in our quantitative Machine Learning systems by reading extensively. - Detailed knowledge of financial concepts is essential. In addition, exposure to data sciences will be a definite advantage - Write thought pieces &amp; research reports/notes on Stocks, investing, etc, (Investment theory, Investment strategies, US, UK, Euro Zone, Emerging Markets etc.). What you should have done so far: You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a reputed brokerage house or fund management organization, in which you have handled and understood a number of sectors and companies in India and globally. Who you are : - You are extremely familiar with investment concepts at the advanced level. In addition you have a questioning and inquisitive mind which is constantly thinking of ideas and approaches different from the consensus point of view. - You are a voracious reader of financial literature. You are extremely articulate in reading and writing. - You are extremely articulate in your thinking and verbal and written communication because there will be extensive client contact in this role, done through conference calls and webinars and presentations.
