First Credit Services - Product Manager

As a Product Management at First Credit Services Innovation Labs, the new Division focusing on Financial Technologies, you will be responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, product planning and execution of products in Greenfield project. Our ideal candidate will have already demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced B2C setup. You will guide product development through all stages of the product life cycle, from identification of customer needs and product definition through development, launch, and ongoing support.

You will work with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, professional services, and business operations) from a product's conception all the way through to its launch. You will be working on user experience, planning & prioritising sprints, defining the product roadmap and specifying out new features and product enhancements.

The Product Manager is expected to:

- Define the product strategy, roadmap, Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.

- Be an expert with respect to the competition, Act as a leader within the company.

- You will be understanding our customer's requirements through primary and secondary research.

- You will be initiating lead development of the product and feature roadmap.

- You will be Preparing and Identifying, conceptualizing, and prototyping our several customer's engagements through apps and website.

- You will be responsible for driving new feature development from start to finish - write specs, work cross-functionally with the engineering team, design our data team to launch features, analyze results, and make iterations.

- Preparing roadmaps for product features and ensure time to market is achieved by resource planning in advance.

- Take logical, data-driven decisions on product features which are highly influenceable on customer engagement and conversion.

- Take the consumer experience to the next level by building a world-class product.

- Gather requirements from a combination of internal stakeholders and clients/Partners to be converted into user stories.

- As part of a larger scrum team, prioritize the body of work for the team to best meet the objectives of your stories, manage the priority of the backlog and write the user stories.

- Support the testing process, review results, identify bottlenecks, and provide guidance on solutions and priorities.

- Build workflow and use-case models outlining the functional outcomes of the product.

- Collaborate with the design team to build mock-ups that highlight the user journeys in terms of visual and functional expectations.

- Set in place the implementation plan and conduct regular check-ins to ensure timeliness and facilitating resolutions and dependencies for cross-functional tasks.

- Ensure that the products are built adhering to the visual and functional expectations set out initially.

- Work with internal teams, partners, and management to establish product development priorities for your specific product, along with relevant business rationales, so that you thoroughly own your roadmap.

- Prioritize your product backlog based on business priorities, market changes, and team velocity.

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and client operations to develop and execute product launch strategies.

- You- re self-motivated and have a - get it done- attitude when approached with any new challenges.

- Experience in Business Requirement Specification documentation/product backlog (Epics, User stories), Agile Methodology, Sprint Planning

Candidate experience: Skills/Abilities

- Minimum 4+ years of Product Management or equivalent experience building and delivering B2C products within a high-performance tech company serving millions of customers.

- Should be from a top-tier engineering college (IITs). MBA from a premier business school is a plus.

- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Technical background, with experience in Java /J2EE, microservices, big data, AI, ML

- Experience in creating wireframe using tools, JIRA, Product Management tools

- Ability to understand the customer pain point and a strong desire to solve the problem in the best possible/innovative way.

- Passion for user experience, design, and experimentation

- Self-confidence, go-getter attitude and a great team player

- Familiarity with programming and software development process is a must-have along with the ability to understand consumer behaviour and requirements.

- Ability to suggest and consider alternative solutions to any given problem and Identify bottlenecks and help the team to resolve issues.

- Should have experience of working in a cross-functional environment.

- Prior strong track record in owning and executing product strategy through the entire product life cycle from inception to go-to-market.

- He/she should thrive in the fast-paced, ambiguous environment of a start-up, and can bring order to chaos in a way that creates value.

- Solid hands-on experience and desire to continue to build customer stories and work closely with development teams and user experience teams.

- Individual should be comfortable speaking in forums, conferences, and boardrooms.

- Experience of guiding and driving a cross-functional team of designers, backend, and frontend engineers.

- You have empathy towards users and colleagues, are creative and excited by ideating/ building.
