First Advantage has a high bar for quality, performance and excellence. As such, we are seeing VP, Sales & Account Management candidates who have a record of driving sales and growth and leading teams within a respected, multi-faceted company. The VP will lead and manage the India Sales & Account management teams and will be responsible for building, refining and executing a hyper-growth strategy to achieve growth plans. S/he will engage with the Leadership Team to develop and implement stales strategies and exceed budgeted levels of sales growth in all service lines. A background with a sophisticated BPO, HRO, Information Services or related technology-driven industry combined with experience in a small or - start-up- company would be ideal.

Qualified candidates must have a thorough understanding of the entire Sales and Account Management cycles including the ability to build pipeline, momentum and to grow and expand existing client relationships. S/he must have the ability to function well under - start-up- like conditions while establishing infrastructure, processes, metrics, behavioral models and an ideal selling culture. Additionally, the candidate must be a strategic critical thinker with strong consultative skills and the ability to foster trusting, credible relationships within all levels and regions of the organization as well as within existing and prospective client organizations.

As such we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and credentials:

- 12-14 years of experience including executive level sales and account management experience in a technology-driven BPO, HRO, Information Services or related industry with significant or primary operations in India. Minimum of five years managing a sales team with revenues of $20 million to $50 million. Key qualifications include a consistent record of a leadership role in exponentially driving and exceeding sales targets and quotas.

- Experience in a senior level, Indian-centric sales role including personal and professional knowledge of the Indian culture, business environment/protocol, regional issues and growth strategies and trends. Proven ability to drive multi-national and/or global sales and account strategies including experience in successfully interacting with peers across the globe.

- Ability to instill a culture based on a consultative sales model including the ability to lead complex sales and to facilitate conceptual, distinctive and total-solution oriented conversations. Ability to instill strategies to drive exclusivity, urgency, priority and enthusiasm within prospective and existing client organizations. Includes exemplary success in generating comprehensive solution sales through the presentation of compelling, complex and comprehensive solutions at the senior management level of prospective clients.

- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills. Demonstrated success in building teams that are able to lead an insightful discovery process, preempt/overcome objections and champion/communicate the benefits of a highly differentiated and value added brand/partnership in a compelling manner. Includes demonstrated expertise in establishing and enforcing sales disciplines on CRM for pipeline management, sales process management and measurement of KPIs.

- High level of focus and intense drive-to-results approach including demonstrated ability to manage teams to exceed monthly quarterly and annual quotas. Includes a record of developing and implementing processes to develop leads, pipeline, relationships and presentation opportunities as well as leveraging upsell and cross-sell opportunities through targeted and proactive strategies. Includes a metrics orientation enabling him/her to establish measurements and quantitative standards.

- Proven success in developing training programs and competitive compensation strategies that ensure the acquisition and retention of the best available talent.

- Ability to develop, articulate, champion and execute against an aggressive growth strategy that is aligned to corporate objectives and that is understood and embraced by staff.

- Excellent leadership, management, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills. A hands-on, accountable and inspirational leadership style including a highly communicative, honest, transparent and empathetic approach.

- Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree in business or its equivalent is desirable.

- Fluency in Hindi and English are necessary as is in-depth cultural knowledge of the region.
