Finplex - Senior Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

- Establishing proper accounting methods, policies, processes, and procedures to comply with statutory regulations.

- Timely preparation of reliable financial statements for reporting, audit, and statutory compliances.

- Timely preparation of regular management accounts and financial MIS for management, the Board, investors and potential investors.

- Working with auditors and external accounting consultants for finance function.

- Responsible for the Accounts receivable function, ensuring revenue assurance at each step.

- Responsible for Accounts Payable and Payroll function ensuring timely payment to all employees and vendors. Meeting deadlines for employees related compliances such as PF, ESI, State level regulations etc.

- Meeting all the statutory timelines related to GST, TDS, Income Tax Returns, Companies Act and Transfer Pricing regulations.

- Meeting timelines for statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit and Transfer Pricing Audits.

- Keep abreast with new changes in statutory guidelines impacting the organisation, formally inform the management about such changes and suggest modifications in current processes and system to comply with the changes.

- Preparation of Annual Budget, get it reviewed and approved before the commencement of a financial year.

- Promoting Budgetary Control over all the expenses and activities planned under the budget and report any deviations in the same.

- Preparing, Sharing and discussing unit wise budgets on Opex, Capex and manpower reports with concerned heads. Highlight any deviation noticed in it.

- Monthly analysis of actual performance against the plan, conducting reviews, identification of corrective steps to adapt the organization to desired changes and monitoring.

- Bringing in automation for ease and accurate accounting, provide real time data analysis and monitoring of all the statutory compliances.

Position Qualifications:

- CA with 5+ years of financial experience.

- Previous financial services industry experience of 3+ years is a must.

- Able to manage multiple projects with varying but stringent deadlines.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively interact with various levels of the organization.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Advanced Excel skills.
