Financial Software & Systems - Senior Manager/Manager - Business Planning - Fund Raising & M&A

- M&A function is to support the in-organic growth strategy of the Company by contributing to the preparation of the M&A strategy and scanning, evaluating and working on visible opportunities.

- The role also entails support on the Company fund raising functions.

Roles & Responsibility:

Fund raising and M&A: 

- Keep track of the deals, relevant to the Company, concluded in the market

- Track and be updated through M&A journals, magazines, articles etc

- Maintain relationships with investment banking community, diligence agencies etc

- Contribute to helping the Company devise a growth oriented M&A strategy

- Scan the market for relevant M&A opportunities

- Support in evaluation of M&A opportunities by assessing synergies, review of financials of target, diligence support, documentation support, deal structuring etc

- Support in fund raising activities by preparation of business plans, preparation of IM, handling investor queries, handling diligence, documentation support etc

- Support in preparation of investment documents

Industry - Candidates from investment banks, Big 4 accounting firms, large IT service companies preferred

Key Skills :

- Good understanding of M&A and fund raising process on an end-to-end basis is a must

- Good business acumen with ability to grasp key business drivers is a must

- Understanding of Payments space is an added advantage

- Ability to understand data and mine data is a must

- Ability to interact with senior management of the Company

- Ability to interact with Target management

- Excellent analytical skills is a must

- Prior experience in working with analytical tools

- Ability to present data in a meaningful manner and ability to highlight key matters

- Excellent knowledge of MS office is a must

- Should be highly sensitive to criticality of the engagement and timelines

- Highest levels of integrity and ethics is a must

Job Location - Chennai

Work Experience - 12 to 15 Years of post qualification experience

UG or PG Qualification: Chartered Accountant ; MBA
