Designation / Position - Senior Manager/AVP Business Planning

Job description:

FP&A role involves working closely with corporate and business finance teams to prepare and present the performance of the Company to the Management. The role also involves preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecast measuring performance against the budgets and providing data on an ad-hoc basis to the Management for decision making.

The ideal candidate should have high energy and drive to challenge current practices, improve quality and accuracy of reporting, driving automation, preparation of dash boards and data packs and have a flair for analytics. The candidate should be able to handle conversations and presentations with Business heads and present confidently in front of senior leadership.

Functional area - Business Planning and MIS

Roles & responsibilities :

1. Understand the various products and services of the Company including a granular understanding of the revenue drivers for each of the offering.

2. Prepare monthly MIS within the stipulated timelines

3. Prepare annual budget and rolling forecast

4. Compare actual performance with the budget and provide commentary for the movement

5. Maintain financial and non-financial metrics for all the key revenue and cost drivers

6. Monitor competition's performance

7. Manage a team of 2-3 professionals and report to the head of Business Planning.

8. Prepare Annual Statutory financials (both Standalone and Consolidated financials) along with respective notes under IND AS.

Industry - Preferably from IT Products/Services /Fintech

Key skills:

1. Excellent business acumen with ability to grasp key business drivers is a must

2. Ability to build business models with an eye for detail

3. Good understanding of accounting and correlation with Business

4. Working knowledge of IND AS

5. Ability to work under pressure and to work with quick turn-around times

6. Good communication skills and ability to interact with business teams and other senior personnel in the organisation

7. Excellent knowledge of MS office is a must

8. Exposure to Business Analytical tools and SAP would be plus

Job location - Chennai

Work experience - Min : 8-10 Years

Expected educational qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant
