As the Chief Technology Officer this strategic role would be responsible to direct and manage internal information technology strategic plans, policies, programs for business to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.

Role Purpose

- Provide technology vision and leadership to the organization. Lead the development and implementation of the company-wide Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure, Services, Operations, compliance and risk practices & align it with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategy & Roadmap Formulation :

- Establish a technological vision of the Organization & drive the company's technology development

- Oversee all technical aspect and technological resources for Organization Growth

- Conducts research to improve the technological assets of the company

- Work closely with the SBUs to streamline & implement innovative technology and provide advice on technology that might improve the effectiveness

- Evaluates modern technology and make recommendation on tech solutions

- Communicate the company tech strategy to the investors and management, customer's partners nd stakeholders

- Integrate customer service & supports with software engineering process to support resolution of customers and improve product deployability.

- Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the information technology needs of the company to ensure that the hardware and software capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company's growth and objectives

- Lead in planning and implementing enterprise information systems and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide IT operations and delivery of Ops and projects

Financial Management :

- Managing and monitoring Tech Infra financial budget (capital and operational) for the organization

- Ensure zero SLA violations and transgressions to minimize penalties incurred

- Creation of a long term strategic and financial plan

Operational Excellence :

- Oversee and provide leadership to Technology and Operations team

- Ensure adherence / achievement of targets - cost and operational by effectively following SLA's. Set up internal/ external escalation mechanism and closure of issues.

- Bring in efficiency in IT Operations through automation and implementation of standards like ITIL

- Responsible for overall Business Continuity Planning (BCP) of the organization from IT and Operations standpoint.

- Evaluate Organization wide systems design and development process, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, pilot testing, installation, evaluation and operational management

- Communicate IS/IT plans, policies and technology trends throughout the organization, including management groups and professional staff

Play a Strategic role in M&A :

- Analyze, assess and monitor competitors, industry and market to identify potential targets to drive organizational synergies through inorganic growth

- Provide insights and inputs to the management to ensure strategy alignment throughout the M&A

- Active involvement in all stages of M&A lifecycle

- Lead, manage and provide guidance and expertise to the internal teams and management during the due diligence process

- Ensure seamless IT Integrations post the M&A by implementing appropriate project management and integration strategies

Implementation :

- Implementation of collaboration tools across the organization to support global workforce

- Comprehensive implementation of Office Automation and productivity tools to derive quick turnaround time.

- Hands on implementation expertise in High Availability infrastructure for a Mission Critical Application with 99.999% uptime) like it happens in Banks

- Manage the large-scale implementation of Security Monitoring and Building Management solutions

- Manage the implementation of Business Process and workflow management within our environment

Industry/Market Research :

- Identify industry trendsetters through market research, publication reviews, tracking competitors etc.

- Analyze external competitiveness posed by competitors and provide solutions to counter the same

- Keep current with the trends and changes in the technology space

- Conduct research and case studies on leading edge technology

Innovation driven solutioning :

- Improvise and implement innovative solutions to enhance and improve the customer (internal and external) experience

- Ability to influence the management and other stakeholders to drive innovation across the organization

Quality Management & Compliance Management :

- Ensure that all information systems and networks operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies and legal requirements

Customer and Vendor Management :

- Periodic visits to the customers in managing the customer projects and ensuring the delivery on time, scope, risk and cost

- Responsible for the management of multiple information and communications systems and projects

- Review all hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts, soliciting involvement and participation of other management team members as appropriate

- Customer Relationship Management - Operational reviews, Projects reviews etc.

Risk Management :

- Be responsible for the development, review and certification of all back-up, security and disaster recovery procedures and plans

- Facilitate correction of any system failures and serve as contact point for all system solutions

- Create risk mitigation procedures

Stakeholder Management :

- Ensure clear, transparent and regular communication between the various stakeholders to ensure realistic expectation setting, timely updating of project status and provide feedback

Advisory to Senior Management :

- Act as a subject matter expert and share inputs and insights to senior management on all aspects

- Share inputs and insights with the senior management to achieve organizational excellence and continuously improve process quality

- Advise senior management on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives

- Chair the technology steering committee & update the Senior Management & Board

Team and Resource Management :

- Provide direction and guidance to team membersvand suggest process improvements to achieve professional excellence.

- Analyze and effectively forecast the utilization/requirement of various resources, the costs/expenses associated and control the same

- Ensure Software License compliance for all software assets

Self-Management :

- Strive to continuously improve product and technology knowledge, Networks and professional standards

- Keeps up with current trends in the industry and modern business practice

Role Requirements :

Experience :

- 20+ years of relevant experience in handling similar roles from payment Hosting Services industry or Payment Processor or Large Infra Management Solution provider for a bank

- Should have managed a team of at least 300 people

- Experienced in handling process re-engineering works across the enterprise

- Ability to engage, conduct and assess VAPT exercise

- Manage the Internal IT Audit year on year

- Should be able to run the Change Control Board for SSNeT environment to manage the changes from environment, application or triggered through regulatory report

- Should be ahead of the curve in understanding the emerging technologies and see its fitment into our FSSNeT environment from both application and infrastructure perspective.

Educational Qualification :

- Masters in IT, engineering or Computer Science from premium colleges in India/abroad

Working Conditions

- This role will require the person to be physically fit to travel, work for extended hours when required and effectively handle stress and complexities
