Designation - Financial Research Analyst
Work Location - CHENNAI
No of Positions - FIVE
- Compile and analyze information in Global Database;
- Perform data quality assurance checks for accuracy and completeness, and verify for internal consistency;
- Provide timely responses to client queries, requests, or needs related to partner data;
- Manage and maintain partner data;
- Apply simple problem-solving methodologies to diagnose and solve data issues;
- Follow established procedures for data management to ensure quality outputs are delivered on time;
- Produce monthly reports on partner data;
- Provide regular updates to the Onsite project manager.
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor’s (BE/B.Tech/BSc Stats etc ) or Master's (MBA/MS/MSc Stats etc) Degree or its international equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Science, Statistics or other data intensive discipline;
- At least three (3) years of relvant experience in data quality management, analysis or research roles within financial institutions;
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in analyzing large databases;
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in using Hoover's, Bllomberg, Reuters or any other equivalent financial product
- Experience in research analytical and technical assistance;
- Excellent qualitative and analytical background;
- Strong communication skills (written and oral);
- Competent in office technology tools with advanced Excel skills;
- Data mining skills (including data auditing, aggregation, validation and reconciliation), and knowledge in tools like Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Analyst, Talend, First Logic, PL/SQL, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Cognos, and MS Office (Access) are a plus.
