Financial Reporting - Insurance/IPO

To ensure completeness of books and timely preparation of accounts periodically.

Financial Reporting

- Supervise and take responsibility for scrutiny & analysis of Trial Balance & GL accounts. Ensuring completeness of data capture, in whichever form (TB, adjustment JVs, etc.) in to financial accounting system. Also ensure correct segment wise data capturing in to Financial Trial balance

- Supervise, over see & take responsibility for timely & accurate preparation of Monthly Accounts with all supporting analysis schedules in accordance with the accounts closing process and checklist

- Effectively handle the statutory audit process

- Responsible for ensuring the reliability, quality and timeliness of financial information / reports

- Should drive the resolution of accounting issues which are raised, effecting correct financial disclosure, on periodic and timely basis

- Operational understanding of Insurance transactions at Branches / HUB and its effect on periodic financial report

IPO preparatory work

- Prepare financials for IPO in line with regulatory requirements and get the same audited as per schedule recognizing and incorporating suggestions of Audit Committee from time to time

- Plan, supervise & execute, preparatory work for IPO Project and stabilization public reporting post public listing

- CA with 8-10 years of experience. Must have worked in process driven & ERP environment.

- Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. Should be a good team leader as well as team player. Must be a go-getter and customer oriented.

- Should be collaborative and ability to multitask.

- Ability to drive timeline based projects to deliver intended results timely.

- Strong planning and organizing skills is a must.

- Expert domain knowledge including IRDA accounting regulations, Indian GAAP and IFRS. Strong understanding of reporting requirements under public listing clauses is important (e.g. SEBI IPO guidelines, Clause 49 under SEBI, CA Institutes guidance note on “Reports in Company Prospectuses”, etc).
