We are having an immediate opening at a Sr. Level for Financial Control Department with a leading Foreign Bank.

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 10-15 years

Qualification: CA

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

- Co-ordinate with Financial reporting teams to ensure efficient financial reporting to HO (under IFRS).

- Establish adequate audit trails for all reporting tasks within the section.

- Ensure proactive responses on HO reporting section matters and queries from HO.

- Ensure proper maintenance of books as per Group accounting principles including accounting plans

- Ensuring implementation of New Reporting Requirements from Head Office

- Manage and supervise team members

Local Finance (including 1st Level Controls)

- Performing Level 1 controls dedicated to local finance with adequate justification

- Control of reconciliations and detailing of sensitive accounts.

- Ensure that procedures are updated at all times for activities performed by the section

- Ensure integrity of data by exercising necessary controls and checks on the data reported or published.

Group management tools

- Ensure proper and complete usage of management tools provided for performing reporting activities including ISM tool.

- Develop efficiency by automating reporting activities to all phases of group reporting.

- Establish co-ordination with other sections on HO reporting and group accounting principles.

Relationship Management:

- Review and publish monthly financials of subsidiaries and MIS presentations to internal management and contribute to reporting for regulators.

- Ensure smooth relationship and efficient conduct of statutory audits of subsidiaries.

- Manage smooth relationship of the team with other sections, departments and functions.

- To take on such assignments as allotted by local management

- To interact and be updated on the finance and reporting related developments - with HO and region

Other skills:

- Train and improve efficiency of team members.

- Spearhead projects in areas pertaining to work domain and contribute to projects involving Finance department.

- Handle assignments as and when allotted by the management.

- Proactively assist local reporting section on queries from external auditors during audit of bank.
