Financial Planning Analyst -APAC Distribution & International -Pune

Summary:

Provide management with timely financial reports and analysis which accurately reflect the performance and integrity of the operation, and directly participate in business strategy development, short-term planning and forecasting, performance measurement, decision making and implementation to facilitate the achievement of divisional and corporate objectives. Assist in the development of the distribution costing to provide insight and visibility in all financial planning to allow for the achievement of management's strategic plan.

Responsibilities:

- This position is an active contributor to the business group. This position explains the current performance of the business to managers in financial terms, forecasts future performance, and analyses the financial impact of alternative tactical and strategic choices and makes recommendations on the best course of action to enable the business to meet its financial and business objectives.


- Analyze the cost of movement of goods through the supply pipeline and monitor current supply chain processes.


- Have responsibility for assembling data, analysing performance, identifying problems and opportunities, and supporting the development of recommendations.


The position also supports the:

- This position can work with a range of different people in the business across APAC and globally including general management, marketing, sales, operations, supply chain, IT, and other finance functions.

- Reporting to the International Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, this position has a dotted reporting line to the Director APAC Supply Chain and Financial Controller APAC will work with a range of different people in the business including general management, marketing, sales, operations, research, IT and all finance functions.

Qualifications / Education / Experience / Skills Required:

- Professional and degree qualifications.

- Minimum of seven years of relevant financial experience in financial analysis/reporting.

- Experience in supply chain analysis position, preferred healthcare industry

- Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting

- High proficiency in financial modeling techniques

- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions

- Strong analytical and data-gathering skills.

- Good business acumen
