Key Responsibilities (covering a multitude of roles):
- Preparation of Performance Review Management Decks
- Working with the wider team supervisor in a number of ad-hoc projects & presentations
- Manages implementation of procedures and development of analyses and report.
- Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.
- Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
- Has working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Delivering of routine and defined outputs. Escalates problems or issues relating to transactions, processes, reports or, procedures.
- Performance Measurement and Related Analytics
- Analysing, investigating key movements and trends in major P&L lines for businesses
- Preparation of monthly financial metrics and key business drivers specific to different products
- Balance Sheet Management and related Performance Metrics
- Collection, distribution and analysis of weeklnd month end, P&L and Balance Sheet estimates
- Preparation and analysis of Net Interest Margin (NIM)
- Expense and Headcount Analytics
- Provide meaningful analytics for expense and headcount
- Tracking of one time expenses
- Tracking of Compensation expenses (payout ratios, associated taxes and CAP rates)
- Preparation of FX analysis
- Weekly Estimate Process
- Assist in preparing weekly financial estimates for S&B, GTS and RCB products
- Assist region products in preparing estimates
- Consolidation of regional org results
- Budgeting and Forecast Process
- Assisting in the quarterly forecasting exercise and annual Budget & Allocation processes
- Month End Reporting activities
- Assist in key month end activities which provides oversight of completeness and accuracy of underlying management information
- Tax analysis
- Support product control and Financial control with key Management reporting as appropriate
Knowledge/Experience:
- Good financial analysis and management reporting background
- Experienced in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel & Word).
- Experience working with data and knowledge of financial reporting tools such as Essbase, Solar & SMART would be a plus.
- Interest in business and economic environment
