About Our Client

Our client is a global specialist in energy management with a strong portfolio of hydropower plants in India. They are looking for a business Finance professional to lead the Financial Reporting role for the organization in India and contribute in terms of taking the company to a next level.

Job Description

Reporting to the Board, CEO and CFO, you will be responsible for Management Reporting function in Finance. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

- Completing the month end closure for the Hydro project.

- Closely monitoring working capital and cash flow relating to the project budget.

- Assist in the implementation of financial, accounting & operational processes related to the ongoing projects and to implement best practice corporate governance.

- General Finance & Accounting Control Functions, including preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and associated management reports.

- Preparation of investor reports and Interface & Manage the Audit & Tax service providers for reporting to the board.

- Liaison with site personnel regarding project inventory and ensuring correspondence with relative invoices for materials.

- Production and monitoring of budgets and forecasts relating to the project

- Senior stakeholders management

The Successful Applicant

You must be a CA with 6-10 years of post qualification experience in EPC/Oil and Gas/Infrastructure/Engineering companies. Further, you must have strong exposure in financial Planning, Financial Modeling and senior stakeholder management with at least three years of experience of project finance/ controllership function. Interpersonally, you must be a sharp and detail- oriented person with good risk assessment and analytical skills.
