Position Description
The broad objectives of this position are:
- To handle the financial analysis and reporting against Annual Operating Plan (AOP) of the Food Co (FC) division of the Company.
- Defining and implementing guidelines to protect the financial position of the company, strengthen controls and minimize risks. This also includes building up relationship with toll manufacturers, developing financial projections with a view to seek funding from investors/banks etc,handling different types of audits(statutory, tax, internal etc).
- Perform the role of a business partner
Job Summary:
- Lead AOP exercise, Monthly/quarterly reviews, Financial Analysis & business Commentary
- To handle 3rd party job work related finance/commercial matters
- Evaluation, Monitoring and control over the cost of production and pricing of the products
- Reporting to Investors, meeting data needs of the Senior Management
- Cost reduction initiatives and review at the legal entity level
- Projections, funding options, new investor, new bankers, banking relationship at Mumbai
- To liaise with various consultants, tax experts, advocates
- Inter divisional accounting and consolidation of financials at entity level
- Cost sharing, cost allocation between group companies, TP - control, Intra group transactions
- Designing Policies, procedures, SOPs for finance/accounting operations at plant, job worker locations
- Working Capital control including inventory and cash flow of FC division
- Evaluation of different and newer business models from various operational, logistics, accounting, tax angles
- Financial Authority Matrix adherence and review
- Accounting Process documentation and designing process flow charts and effective use of ERP.
- To ensure all internal, management, tax and statutory audits are implemented without any adverse remarks/qualifications and if any adverse remarks/qualifications are expected due to reasons beyond self-control bring such circumstances/events to the notice of CFO well in time so that appropriate action can be taken in advance.
- Sensitize management in good time, on possible financial risks and work together to mitigate the same.
- Timely closure of the agreed action points emerging from various audits.
- Interact with cross functional teams to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, monthly results, documents review, reports and recommendations.
- Assist CFO in handling tax assessments with the help of tax advisors
- Provide day to day managerial support to F&A team members.
Candidate Profile-
Qualification B. Com with CA (with Manufacturing sector background)
Previous Experience (Post qualification relevant experience)
Minimum: 4 years, Maximum: 7-8 years
