Financial Controller - Telecom Infra

SALARY RANGE: 18 Lacs TO 20 Lacs Per Annum.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

- To provide leadership to the Finance function of the Company and align with business in creating the most valuable and independent Telecom Infrastructure Company offering integrated Value added services this includes overall financial operations and facilitate strategic decision – making on financial matters

ROLE DESCRIPTION: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Accounts

- Ensure accounting for all financial transactions in the organization, verify financial statements and settle accounts for the organization

- Ensure timely closure of book of accounts, and consolidation of all financial data

- Manage the corporate accounting systems

- Ensure proactive fiscal management for all the divisions

Finance

- Ensure adequate control over the funds and assets (both capital and current assets)

- Ensure efficient management of the funds of the organization

- Ensure financial planning on a timely basis

- Ensure compliance with all laws and fiscal regulations of the country

- Ensure accurate forecasting and development of the overall financial plan

- Drive for creation and implementation of best-in-class financial policies, procedures, and processes to ensure operational excellence

- Control financials and provide financial support to the business managers

- Carry out financial risk analysis, monitor profitability versus budget and forecasts

- Monitor the implementation of all financial decisions

- Ensure complete financial planning and budgeting for various functions and the organization, and variance analysis

- Ensure timely resolution of escalations

Customer

- Ensure statutory compliance across the organization, both internally and externally

- Develop procedures, processes, guidelines etc for ensuring compliance and facilitate their institutionalization across the organization

- Monitor compliance adherence, track cases of violation/ compliance issues, DOA violation and undertake suitable action

- Keep abreast of the latest statutory/ compliance – related regulations/ guidelines/ norms to undertake proactive measures

- Obtain and regulate the accounts of the organization (all regional and HO audits)

- Conduct timely internal audits in all circles and hubs and ensure closing is done according to organizational norms

- Recommend and implement suitable measures based on the internal audit reports

- Ensuring regular audits by statutory auditors in stipulated timeframes and satisfactory resolution of their queries

Process

- Ensure payment of taxes and levies wrt the state/ region appropriately and on a timely manner

- Ensure compliance on statutory issues of direct and indirect taxation, excise etc

- Ensure development of tax strategy, guidelines, policies and processes and effective tax – planning for the organization

- Resolve taxation related escalations and provide assistance in closure of taxation – related cases

- Ensure cordial relationships with direct and indirect tax authorities for assessments

People

- Ensure timely preparation of the financial MIS reports and dashboard

- Draft and review functional reports periodically

- Facilitate steps to improve and implement initiatives towards the growth of the organization
