CA/ICWA with 8 to 12 yrs experience in micro finance bank.

oversee all aspects of financial management within our microfinance institution. As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic insights to guide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations Management:

- Supervise and manage all accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

- Streamline accounting processes and operations to enhance efficiency.

Budgeting and Financial Forecasting:

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.

- Analyze variances and provide timely reports to senior management.

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and publish accurate monthly financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

Internal Controls and Risk Management:

- Research technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.

- Support the month-end and year-end close process.

- Maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Tax Compliance:

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Process Documentation:

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies

Minimum Requirements:

- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller with at least 5 years of combined accounting and finance experience in microfinance industry.

- Advanced degree in Accounting.

- CA or CPA certification preferred.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

- Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.

- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

- Additional Information

- good Communication and Presentation skills

- Strong understanding of banking regulations, risk management, and compliance

- Experience in risk management, Merger and Acquisition.
