Financial Controller - Healthcare

Job Profile :

- Designing the finance process workflow for the organization

- Setting up internal financial control and risk control measures. Identifying and validating controls of key areas like accounts receivable & payables, revenue, inventory and fixed assets

- Participating in the preparation of budgets, forecasts

- Validating business plans & commercial strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation in line with business goals

- Validate financial impact of business decisions including, accounting impact, cash flow impact, profitability, financial risk and tax exposure

- Preparing budgets & conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions for the same

- Preparing and summarizing reports on monthly business activities and financial position of the company to the parent company

- Ensure accurate timely book closure, statutory audits & filings are completed on time for all legal entities

- Manage relationships with all vendors, negotiate, monitor and drive cost efficiencies

- Partner with commercial and lab operations teams to monitor processing of invoices and collection of payments as per terms.

- Ensure effective controls on payables and review from time to time.

- Ensure that control activities are properly executed and provide feedback on control deficiencies in the local environment

Candidate Profile:

- Qualifications: CA with MBA(Preferred)

- Years of experience : 7-12 years, with experience in healthcare organizations

- Experience as a finance controller in any mid/large sized organization

- Understanding across accounts, vendor management, tax and business partnering domains

- Strong business orientation; experience of managing P&L and building scale in a geographically distributed set-up

- Has a strong orientation in setting-up robust systems/improvising existing systems/frameworks within an established setup in order to optimize the functioning of the dept. would be a preferred.
