Profile: Financial Controller, Gurgaon

1. Oversee all F&A tasks such as - Financial Close-, reporting, commission assurances, payments, banking management, legal & all tax compliances etc.

2. Prepare/ coordinate the budget and financial forecasts for next year and report variances on a month on month basis

3. Work with accounting team to prepare and publish timely monthly MIS

4. Work with the accounting and payroll team for streamlining invoicing, vendor payment processes

5. Project Management of Business Operations: driving a complete transformation of its Business Operations Reconciliations by implementing a third-party financial reconciliation software. The incumbent is expected to play a - hands-on- role in getting completely involved & taking over the responsibility from F&A department perspective for all related, connected tasks & work through various teams as IT, Operations, Product Vendor teams, internal F&A stakeholders, Accounting outsourcing to get this successfully completed.

6. Post implementation of this Software Product, the entire F&A related tasks up to the accounting, controlling for core Business Operations transactions & financial events

Qualifications

- CA /ICWA with at least 5 years of experience in F&A, monthly closing, Income tax, and GST compliances, handling statutory audits (preferably Big 4s) etc

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to develop/improve/write & implement processes for tasks that would get re-defined upon implementation of the Software product

- Team handling ability is a key essential ingredient

- Sound understanding of complete Financial Accounting

- Ability to understand business operations & translate its Accounting impact as Journal entries

- Ability to get hands on to carry out tasks & responsibilities

1. Exceptional communication and presentation skills

2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build sustainable relationships

3. Ability to connect the dots to identify opportunities and convince the stakeholders

4. Basic understanding of key financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and revenue goals of an organization

5. Proactive, disciplined, executionist who can drive results

6. Ability to understand technical concepts and liaise with all stakeholders

Desired but not essential :

- Prior experience of managing business Operations reconciliation involving large volumes would be desired but not essential for the right candidate

- Prior experience of working with any Accounting technology software as Tally, Oracle, SAP etc would be highly desired though not essential
