Job Description - The primary purpose of this role is to manage the pan-India business while taking a seat at the international finance group function table. This means creating a finance function in Delhi that can co-operate with its global counterparts - primarily in the UK & North America. Within the business in India this will also mean increasing the Business Partnering ethos of the Finance function to enable future growth. Day to day this will also mean real interaction with Project Heads, Project Leads & also Senior Project Controllers.

The Successful Candidate - This is a role where there are some technical aspects which are really important to the success of the position but the interpersonal requirements are the ones which are 'non-negotiable'. This is because the successful candidate will immediately assume three senior direct Finance reports - as well as three UK-based Line Managers / Project Controllers. This is in addition to the high level of senior stakeholder exposure - from within the Finance function and also the business line and the front-end exposure on projects - be they Government or private sector. On a technical level, over the last 10 to 15 years, this person must:

- Be very comfortable around Tax & their pan-India intricacies.

- Have a very sound knowledge of the Consulting industry - both from methodology & also a Finance & Accounting perspective.

- Be able to operate within & have a deep knowledge of Banking, Capital Markets, Capital In & Out Flows.

- Have a Big 4 Audit methodology skill set but a business mind when it comes to applying this. For example be very risk minded without becoming a ""policeman"".

- Have examples in their experience of Streamlining Processes where very few exist and then creating new ones which will stand up to international scrutiny & standards - in order to meet a global standard within the Group.

- Have created value & 'synergies' from deep, consensus, mentor based team relationships.

- Demonstrate the same value from training, providing guidelines & mentorship.
