Financial Controller/Chief Financial Officer - Auto Safety Component Firm - CA

The Client : A reputed Auto Safety Component mfg Co

The Role :

- Primary responsibility is around ensuring that a business is operating effectively and efficiently by managing the finance, accounting, internal controls and compliance.

Expectations from the role (including but not limited to) :

- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team

- Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team and advising on long-term business and financial planning

- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting and MIS

- Controller ship activities like cash management functions and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, payroll and bank reconciliation functions.

- Internal process and controls with respect to finance, accounts and other related areas

- Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

The Person for the role :

- CA with about 15 years experience in a senior finance role with atleast 4 to 5 years handling the controllership function for a mid size auto / auto ancillary company.

- Business acumen with the experience supporting business inititives from the finance and accounts perspective.

- Strong finance, accounting, taxation and compliance fundementals.

- Experience in process control and improvements in line with organisational goals

- Team management and development experience.

- Excellent Stakeholder Management and problem solving skills
