Financial Controller - CA - Financial Services

About the Company:

Our client is a global MNC in the financial services domain. This position is for their global delivery center in Pune.

Job Description of FINANCIAL CONTROLLER:

- Provide oversight of the corporate finance team performing the day-to-day accounting functions, cost plus invoicing, payroll, treasury, AP, budgeting and forecasting, statutory reporting and audits.

- Assist the India CFO with transformation and cost-saving strategies, monthly business updates to the India leadership, board presentations and various other ad hoc analyses and projects.

- Provide strategic direction and management of the Finance and Accounts function to ensure shareholder value creation.

- Manage the financial risks, planning towards Fund Management and record-keeping.

- Participate in preparation of the Annual Plan and Strategic Business Plans that improve the efficiency and long-term profitability of the business and ensure optimum functioning of the departments.

- Ensure the design of a robust data have driven business-decision-making framework, technology-driven process improvements and change initiatives that enable the budgeting, forecasting and reporting to be carried out in a consistent and effective manner.

- Ensure compliance with the company's policies, procedures and local statutory regulations.

- Manage Statutory and Internal Auditors.

- Responsible for the Organizations financial condition & capital structure. Evaluate investment options, determining the best mix of debt, equity and internal financing, taking into consideration risk and liquidity.

- Direct/Indirect Taxes (GST)

- Forex Management

- Banking & Treasury

- Preparing the budget for the year including the cash flow projection, 3 months prior to the end of the year

- Preparing Daily, Weekly, Monthly Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual Fund Flow

- Management and analysis of Budget on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual basis

- All reports on the financial performance of the company to be presented to the CFO

- A monthly Cash flow statement

- Monthly budget and variance analysis

Financial Controller Skills and Qualifications:

- CA/ Master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field; several years of experience in a business or finance environment; management experience; leadership skills; interpersonal skills; outstanding mathematical skills; honesty; integrity; reliability; solid written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail; organisational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; research skills; analytical skills; computer skills; understanding of data privacy standards.
