1. Job Details - Location: Muscat, Oman 2. Requirement: - Carrier Level: Managerial Level - Minimum Education: CA/ ACCA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification with Bachelor degree/Master degree in Accounts and Finance. - Experience: 8 to 10 years in accounts and finance field; Gulf Experience is must; (3-5 years at Managerial level) - English Level: Excellent communication skill - Age Preferred: 35 to 40 years; 3. Knowledge: - Accounting standard IND-AS, IFRS, GAAP; - Direct and Indirect Taxation; - Retail business Process; - General Company Law and statutory requirement. 4. General Skill Set: - Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field; - Qualified CA / CPA/ ACCA. - Adequate Knowledge of IFRS, IND-AS, GAAP. - Adequate knowledge of indirect taxation (VAT) and direct taxation. - Fluent knowledge of MS-Office specially excel for report preparation. - Strong interpersonal and communication skill. - Strong negotiation skill - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Research skills; analytical skills; computer skills; understanding of data privacy standards. 5. Duties and Responsibilities include following: - Oversee all company accounts and taxation. - Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts - Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports and prepare periodic and annual cash flow and fund flow statement. - Prepare budget for expenses and monitor the same on periodic basis. - Prepare sales budget and monitor the target closely in order to achieve the same. - Prepare performance evaluation report based on actual sales for sales staff on annual basis. - Negotiate with banker for banking facilities and with supplier for payment terms and conditions. - Prepare and collection plan and closely monitor actual collection from customer and conduct periodic follow-up through sales staff & accounts staff. - Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants. - Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback. - Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing. - Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported - Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations include tax and legislation. - Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations - Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports. - Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities. - Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies. - Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations. - Report to the Directors/ MD with timely and accurate financial information.
