Details about the position:

Position: Finance Controller

Location: Chennai

Requisites:

- Graduate in Accounting and Finance with Professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant

- 7 to 10 or more years of experience in Finance and Accounting with minimum 3 years of Corporate managerial experience preferably in the Financial sector.

- Good understanding of Financial Planning, Budgeting and Accounting practices

- General Banking Industry Knowledge and Networking

- Knowledge of local Auditing, Tax and other Regulations/laws

- Good computer skills especially in accounting software packages, Spread sheet and office packages

- Good analytical, numerical and logical skills

- Good verbal and written communication skill in English

- Business acumen with strategic thinking and leadership quality

- Should be a good Team Player

Responsibilities:

- Assist in Fund Raising, Liaising with Banks and other creditors and Treasury Management.

- Financial modeling, Financial policies, Planning & budgeting, Evaluation of projects

- Devise and implement financial policies, controls and procedures.

- Manage all accounting operations including financial accounting, cost control and Revenue recognition and ensure recording of all transactions and systems in accordance with accepted accounting standards

- Establish financial and management information analyses, and reports.

- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

- Cash Flow and asset management

- All statutory Financial compliances, Direct & indirect taxation, Finalization of accounts, dealing with statutory & internal auditors.

- Assist in Strategic Financial Planning & Business Financial Plans.

- Prepare the processes and Documents for obtaining satisfactory Credit Ratings
