Financial Controller : Bank

Job Description :

Our client is an emerging bank.

Responsibilities :

- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements

- Preparing financial reports

- Participating in budgeting processes

- Work with our accounting department to streamline vendor payment processes and improve the financial health of the company.

- Act as the primary support person for month, quarter and year-end financial activities

- Developing plans for financial growth

- Evaluating and managing risk.

- Overseeing and preparing income statements.

- Reconcile corporate balance sheets and deliver summary reconciliation reports to the executive team.

- Ensuring compliance with relevant local tax, accounting, auditing, and external reporting requirements

Education & Experience :

- CA/ICWA/CFA must (mandatory)

- Minimum 15 years of experience excluding article ship; preferably from a BFSI industry.

- Must have led both internal and statutory audit processes in organizations

- Strong people manager and handled/led a team with regard to accounting and financial processes;

- Strong focus on controls and processes and high attention to detail

Technical competencies & skills:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
