Financial Controller - Asset Management Firm

Hiring for a Global Asset Management Company

Roles & Responsibilities :-

1. Financial Processes

- Prepare and/or validate journal entries review and challenge balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.

- Understand all sources of revenue across the EMEA business, work alongside global Finance to record and monitor revenue appropriately.

- Produce clear reconciliations, maintain schedules and post journals to the accounting system.

- Review and approve payments for multiple entities.

- Play a key role with annual audits including preparation of schedules, drafting of financialstatements and liaising with auditors to ensure timelines are adhered to.

- Maintain documentation of Finance processes.

2. Regulatory & Compliance Reporting

- Responsible for the processing of scheduled regulatory reporting including UK FCA requirements and Irish CBI reporting as well as other compliance requirements throughout the EMEA region.

- Review and maintain schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory capital and liquidity requirements.

- Assist with VAT and corporation tax compliance across EMEA entities and liaise with external service providers where applicable.

3. Monitoring and Management Reporting

- Ensure the meeting of monthly, quarterly and annualreporting requirements internally and externally.

- Assist in preparation of monthly treasury and cash forecasting reports as well as annual forecasting exercise.

- Assist the EMEA and GlobalFinance teams in the provision of data for board report production.

- Work with external providers to prepare unaudited financial statements for various entities across EMEA.

4. ANCILLIARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with ad hoc projects as required.

- Produce ad hoc reporting or analysis as requested by management and the business.

- Assist with the review and maintenance of EMEA Finance policies and guidelines.
