Nepra Resource Management  Nepra is an Ahmedabad based company focused on building an organised and reliable dry waste (plastics, metal, glass, paper etc.) supply chain. It operates under the brand name “Let’s Recycle”. The company has successfully integrated waste pickers in the formal waste management value chain by directly sourcing dry waste from them, establishing long standing relationships by providing fair prices and transparent service. The company also procures dry waste from Commercial establishments and Industrial customers. The company operates 3 MRF (Material Recovery Facilities) where the procured waste is segregated, sorted and value-addition is carried out. The company has ambitious growth plans and is looking to create a niche by organizing the dry waste management ecosystem in India. Nepra is currently seeking a Financial Controller who can play an instrumental role in the growth of this institution. Below is a description of the Role and Responsibilities. The role is based out of Ahmedabad.  Role  1. Strategic Financial Planning and Forecasting  2. Management of Company’s Balance Sheet  3. Responsible for overall Accounting function  4. Fund raising (Debt and Equity)  5. Ensuring Clean Audit  6. Risk Management  Responsibilities  1. Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies  2. Oversee the accounting department, budget preparation and audit functions  3. Meet regularly with department heads to keep informed and to offer direction  4. Preparation of Business/Financial plans in consultation with the CEO and the Board; monitor and track achievement against the same. Confer with the CEO and department heads to coordinate and prioritize planning.  5. Establish reporting, evaluating and monitoring systems for the management and the concerned stakeholders  6. Monitor banking operations of the company. Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization’s needs.  7. Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be reorganized, down-sized or eliminated.  8. To manage monthly payroll and its compliances.  9. To keep up-to-date legal records and secretarial compliances.  10. To prepare and present monthly budget/management reports with respect to Fixed Assets, Inventory and Receivables  11. Co-ordinate with Auditors and external agencies for any information related to account keeping.  12. Study long-range economic trends and project company prospects for future growth in overall sales and market share, opportunities for acquisitions or expansion into newer geographies. Estimate capital requirements for capital, land, buildings, and an increase in the work-force.  13. Supervise investment of funds; work with banks/and or investment bankers to raise additional capital as required for expansion  Desired Skills & Experience  1. Graduate in Accounting and Finance and a fully qualified CA  2. 10 or more years of experience in the finance and accounting with minimum 3 years of Senior Managerial experience as Financial Controller/CFO.  3. Good understanding of Financial Planning, Budgeting and accounting practices  4. General Banking Industry Knowledge  5. Knowledge of Auditing, tax and other Regulations/laws  6. Good computer skills especially accounting software packages, Spread sheet and office packages  7. Very good analytical, numerical and logical skill  8. Good communication skill verbal and written in English  9. Business acumen with strategic thinking and leadership quality  PS: The position is based out of Ahmedabad.
