Financial Controller

Description:

- Overseeing and monitoring direct and indirect tax functions including assessments

- Presenting the audited annual / quarterly financial results of the company / tax audit and cost audit. Including ACM & Board presentations / monthly MIS

- Ensuring compliance under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST / VAT Act

- Providing support to BU Presidents and CFO on achieving the desired profitability including achievement of budgets

- Co-ordinating, guiding and preparation of budgets and achieving the budget.

- Ensuring IFC implementation

- Co-ordinate with IT for development of various MIS / BI reports

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Additional controller duties as necessary.

Other specification:

- 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Experience with creating financial statements

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process

- Excellent SAP understanding and User skills

- Reporting to Company CFO, CEO and Group Financial Controller
