Financial Analyst (FP&A) (UK Shift) (2-5 yrs) - Support with Month-end reporting - Collate and report on the Group's monthly revenue flash. - Supporting divisional and central finance teams through the monthly EBITDA reporting process. - Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. - Providing insightful financial data to support business decision making. - Collaborating with other wider finance teams to streamline functions and operations. - Monitor and report on key monthly financial metrics (Headcount/FTE analysis, inflation analysis, revenue growth analysis etc). - Tracking financial performance and reporting findings to management. Annual budgeting and forecasting: - Assisting the Head of FP&A in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. - Create/prepare the Group people cost budget template for circulation to the divisional and central finance teams. - Support with identification and preparation of centrally managed costs (Insurance, private medical, car leasing etc.) for circulation to the divisional and central finance teams. - Collating, reviewing and consolidation of the Group budget in excel and their subsequent upload to the Group consolidation system (Planful) - Review and preparation of the Group's property estate budget, and circulation to the divisional and central finance teams, involves collaborating with the wider finance teams. - Preparation of Excel templates used to designate property related invoices' posting by divisions. - Prepare and roll-out of reforecasting templates to the divisions. Group Consolidation system (Planful) Administration: - The role will involve overseeing and managing financial data in the Group consolidation system, Planful. - Oversight of controls over user access, security settings, and system configurations and workflows within Planful. - Where necessary, collaborate with Planful support to understand issues and resolve. - Conduct general maintenance and housekeeping tasks, involves setting up new users, creating new entities, business units, account codes, FX rates etc. - Stay informed about updates and new features in Planful. - Designing Excel spotlight and Planful system reports for the wider finance teams and supporting Planful/Spotlight users resolve any issues. - Training and supporting the wider finance group will also be required (supporting finance teams with mapping financial data to the Planful COA and the financial data upload processes). - Administer the month-end and year-end processes in Planful and wider finance teams communication as and when necessary. - Checking and liaising with the wider finance teams to ensure reported results in Planful are correct. - Journal posting in Planful. We are looking for: - Part qualified or qualified accountant. - Data driven - passion for working with data and a deep understanding of its potential to drive informed decision-making. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in financial software and Strong Excel skills are essential, with ability to manipulate and interrogate large sets of data. - Previous experience working with Planful essential. - Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment. - Must be a team player but capable of working alone.
