Financial Analyst - CA

We are looking for a young, dynamic financial professional to join our finance team at Mumbai and Ahmedabad to support and drive the financial planning and MIS function.

The position will report to the CFO and will be responsible for tracking the company's financial performance against the business plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.

- Preparation of Presentation deck for leadership reviews.

- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.

- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.

- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

- Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends

- Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes

- Negotiate and drive cost saving projects

Preferred Skills:

- Min 2 years of business finance - FP&A and MIS

- High proficiency in financial modelling techniques

- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions

- Strong analytical and data gathering skills

- Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
