Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports specific to the debt segment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Accounting Operations: Oversee accounting processes related to debt instruments, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts for the debt segment, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
4. Audit Compliance: Ensure adherence to audit standards and facilitate the smooth conduct of audits related to debt instruments and operations.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with regulatory changes impacting the debt segment, ensuring financial operations comply with relevant standards.
6. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of debt-related financial data, offering insights into market trends, risks, and opportunities.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as operations, compliance, and trading desks to streamline financial processes and resolve issues.
8. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy within finance/accounts in the debt segment.
