Financial Analyst (Banking vertical)

Our financial analyst (FA) would have experience of at least 2-3 years preferably in the risk appraisal/ underwriting function or in the audit and assurance function of a globally recognized firm.

A typical candidate would have any of the following qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (Including CA Inter passed candidates with rich experience)

CFA

Equivalent Masters Degree

Key skills required

MS Excel; a problem solving approach; excellent communication skills; project ownership; attention to detail.

The FA plays a key role in development of new Excel based models and templates across multiple client segments (corporate, commercial, consumer, private banking and financial institutions), industry verticals (energy, financial services, industrials, distribution, logistics, chemicals etc), geographies (Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, USA and Canada) and Accounting standards (IGAAP, US GAAP, IFRS). The analyst would be responsible for developing new risk rating models, redesigning existing models in line with changes in the bank's risk policies and streamlining the risk appraisal process flow of the client. In this, the FA would work closely with the technical team to provide financial inputs and training on an ongoing basis. The FA would also be responsible for actively consulting the client on new processes or enhancements that could be made on a regular basis.
