Financial Analyst

- The Financial Research Analyst is responsible for conducting detailed analysis of market trends, financial statements, and economic indicators.

- This role involves providing insights and recommendations to support investment decisions, financial planning, and corporate strategy.

- The analyst will play a key role in understanding and forecasting financial outcomes and identifying investment opportunities.

- Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.

- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.

- Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, including quarterly and annual reports.

Market Research:.

- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscapes.

- Analyse macroeconomic indicators and their impact on investments.

- Stay up-to-date with financial media and identify market trends, opportunities, and threats.

Investment Analysis:.

- Provide analytical support for investment decisions.

- Assess potential investment opportunities using financial modelling techniques.

- Prepare investment reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:.

- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.

Analyse financial information to forecast revenues, expenditures, and year-end financial status.

Regulatory Compliance:.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.

Collaboration and Communication:.

- Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to support various initiatives.

- Present financial insights and recommendations to management.

Qualifications:.

- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.

- Proven experience as a financial analyst.

- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.

- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.

- Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.

Preferred Skills:.

- CFA/CA/CMA or MBA other relevant qualification is a plus.
