Job role: Investment Financial Advisor

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement investment strategies for clients in accordance with their financial objectives

- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential investments and make buy, hold, or sell recommendations

- Monitor the performance of the funds and make adjustments as necessary

- Monitor market trends and economic conditions to adjust investment strategies as needed

- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on portfolio performance and address any concerns.

- Participate in the marketing and sales efforts of the funds including presenting to potential clients

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws

- Provide ongoing training and development to team members

- Attend industry conferences and events to stay current on market trends

- Participate in the development and review of investment policies and procedures

- Participate in the development and implementation of risk management processes and procedures for the funds

- The candidate would be in charge of handling multiple responsibilities either directly or by managing teams.

Location: Kolkata

Skills Required:

- Professional qualification in finance, accountancy, business management or law

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in activities related to the securities market including in a portfolio manager, stock broker, or as a fund manager

- Strong security analysis skills, with experience of having analyzed companies in various sectors, from balance sheet to industry macro

- Exceptional analytical and research skills

- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a definite advantage

- Willingness and ability to learn and take up varied responsibilities over time

- Good communication skills, comfortable with explaining complicated models to a wide audience.

- A team player. Ability to brainstorm and enhance the learning experience.
