Finance Manager Type: Full-time Location: Bangalore Position description and responsibilities We are an emerging market advisory firm specializing in strategy design, investment advisory, and business structuring for technology companies at various stages Position purpose As a manager, you will use your experience and knowledge to help deliver greater insight delivering functional efficiencies as well as transforming the role of finance in our clients businesses. You will be developing innovative, sustainable ways to improve the management of people, processes and systems, working alongside other finance professionals in high-performing teams. Principal responsibilities and accountabilities - Lead the day to day execution of a client project while guiding and developing individual team members; - Work directly with clients, usually on site, and take ownership of the overall project and its end products; - Make an important contribution to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance approaches, developing tailor-made solutions and working closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results; - Build solutions in a box methodologies for end to end project delivery and create standard operating procedures to reduce cost and time to deliver future solutions - Collaborate with partners, senior managers and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations; - Ensure our Engagement team thoroughly understands our clients unique needs, ambitions and expectations; - Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service and enhance brand equity; - Manage performance and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes. Skills & qualifications required - Advanced degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline or MBA is preferred; Additional qualifications (optional) CFA; - At least 7 years of relevant experience in Finance Transformation Projects and business improvement projects; - Proven consulting, client-facing skills; - Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and tools; - Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to effectively communicate and manage change; - A proven record of excellence when managing, mentoring and improving a team of high-performing colleagues; - Big Four accounting firm or equivalent background preferred; - Good business sense and commercial awareness; - Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure; - Ability to work in multicultural environment and multidisciplinary teams; - High degree of rigor and attention to detail; yet ability to see the big picture and guide team on that path Working conditions - Flexibility is important.
