FINANCE MANAGER – COMMERCIAL CONTROLLER

Designation: Manager - Finance

Experience: 8-12 yrs

Key Area of Responsibility:

- Business economic support. This includes financial decision preparation for medium term and long term propositions, management of financial risks of the business, benchmarking own performance and account performance, and an action oriented reporting on the sales performance.

- Plans, directs and controls the sales planning process. Comprising: strategic reviews, budgets, rolling forecasts and monthly sales performance reporting.

- Manage the sales financial accounting department. Supervision of the Finance employees, manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Analysis of the sales monthly financial performance; reporting the COMAR system in line with Corporate and sector requirements.

- Leads the financial monitoring of the business and the implementation of corrective actions.

- Ensures that appropriate pricing mechanisms are in place tuned to the competitive position of the business and influencing managerial behaviour appropriately.

- Ensures that proper business controls are maintained in the business and that the business adheres to the Philips code of conduct. Is responsible for the functioning of the audit committee of the business.

- Credit management

- Marcom

- Manages the finance team of the business, ensuring appropriate development of staff. Matching capabilities to job requirements.

- Ensures that the appropriate information systems are in place for the financial management of the business.
