Finance Manager - Solar Industry - CA

-We seek a highly competent Senior Finance Manager experienced in the solar industry to lead our financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will expertly manage day to day accounting, ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other tax regulations, and provide strategic financial insights for company growth. This individual will play
a critical role in budgeting, financial modeling , and securing project financing.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Oversee timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

- Ensure adherence to all applicable accounting standards (Ind - AS/ IFRS).

- Lead GST, TDS, and other relevant tax filings, ensuring timely compliance.

- Manage audits (internal and external), liaise with auditors, and implement recommendations.

Day to -Day Accounting:

- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

- Oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy.

- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and accounting procedures.

Budgeting and Financial Analysis:

- Develop and analyse annual budgets, tracking performance against targets. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management to optimize resource allocation.

- Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support decision - making.

Financial Modelling and Project Financing:

- Create detailed financial models for solar projects, evaluating feasibility and profitability.

- Prepare teasers, presentations, and term sheets to secure financing from lenders.

- Evaluate financ ing/refinancing options and recommend optimal structures.

- Liaise with lenders, support project appraisals, and manage loan documentation processes.

Strategic Support:

- Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives and business planning.

- Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive process improvements.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification is mandatory.

- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in the solar energy sector.

- Deep understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and other tax regulations.

- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to drive insights.

- Experience in securing project financing for renewable energy projects is highly advantageous.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
