Saudi Aramco JV :

Largest Conglomerate Petrochemical Refinery is looking out for Finance Manager.

- Report to the CFO of the refinery.

Location:Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (Near Mecca).

Job description

The Finance Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer, and will manage a team of experienced and professionally qualified accountants, section heads and analysts.

The role encompasses financial reporting of the entire refinery operations, and will include leading the team to:

- Maintain and analyse the general ledger, payroll, receivables and payables, fixed assets, cash management and all processes related to maintaining the books of accounts for the refinery including JV accounting

- Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as Saudi Accounting Standards (SOCPA) in all internal, regulatory and year-emd financial statements and reports

- Manage and report under GOSI and DZIT regulations

- Ensure compliance with internal control framework and facilitate coordination with audit groups

- Manage and prepare relevant MIS reports for senior management

- Have strong fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, theories and practice - IFRS and SOCPA - and proactively manage all convergence, transitional accounting and system readiness for reporting

- Manage relationships and consultations with the Company's external auditors and keep abreast of all accounting and financial reporting developments in Saudi Arabia and globally.

- Strong team management

Briefly, they are looking for:

- Candidate must be professionally qualified (apart from Bachelors) - Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting

Professional certifications: CIA, CPA, SOCPA, ACA (Required).

- Candidate must be 40+ years old.

- Ideal candidate should have started in a Big 4 firm (EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC) and then moved into an Oil Refinery

- Experience in Oil Refinery should be at the most recent and for at least the last 10 years .

- Proven experience in managing large teams of professionals & Excellent Communications Skills.

- IFRS, SAP expertise.
