A leading Middle East based brand in frozen food and Read to Cook meals is looking for a Manager Finance role in Mumbai, following is specifications for the same:

Location: Govandi, Mumbai

Job Description:

Accounts & Audit

- Finalization of accounts, divisional & branch accounting.

- Attending statutory auditors, internal auditors

- Stores/ Materials accounting.

- Tax audit details preparation

- Debtors’ management and credit control – Ensuring complete control over the receivables and maintain a healthy DSO

- Accounting Standards and their implementation.

- Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding all the company’s financial affairs

- Payroll – Ensuring that payroll processing is done on timely basis and all statutory compliance are adhered to.

- Accounts Payable – Ensuring that the accounts payable function is smoothly carried on.

- Ensure that finance staff maintains financial record systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and monitor the use of all funds.

MIS, Budgeting & Costing

- Costing – To have complete control over the costing of the products and the related MRPs.

- Budgeting /Forecasting – To assist CFO in preparation of business models for annual budgeting and deploying effective MIS and metrics which help management to improve operational parameters.

- Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.

Education and Experience Required:

- Must be a CA with about 5-10 yrs experience finance/accounts.

- Must be from FMCG/Foods industry

- Should be able to independently review and streamline processes.

- Knowledge of spreadsheet applications like MS excel, etc

- Should have extensive experience in Tally ERP

- Should be a leader and a motivator.

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team oriented environment.

- Strong planning and decision making skills.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to invoke change.

- Should be comfortable dealing with higher management

- Capacity to assume more significant executive responsibilities over time.
