With their rapidly expanding business and commitment to their values, they are looking for Corporate Finance Manager to drive strategic finance initiatives at the HQ in India based at Gurgaon.

Job Description - Reporting to the Commercial Controller for India, you will be responsible for - The end to end ownership of strategic projects in the Finance functions. This involves a methodical approach right from the Idea generation stage for proposal of a project based on a business need to implementation of the project by handing operational issues while working in collaboration with other functions in project teams.

- It is a majorly collaborative role which includes high degree of coordination amongst different parties like the procurement and planning, logistics, sales & marketing and IT/IS.

- Internally, the role holder interacts closely with the Finance managers at the plant & corporate level & with the Management Committee for project development & approval processes. Externally, the role holder interacts with consulting firms occasionally & with entities such as tax advisors.

- Idea Generation - Responsible for the conceptualization of business ideas to generate finance projects of relevance & importance in synchronization with the business requirements.

- Project Planning and Implementation - Build upon the idea & broad framework to develop a concrete plan of action & strategy to implement the new idea and give it the shape of a feasible project with effective timelines & outcomes.

- Business Excellence & Best practices - Drive certain strategic financial projects including consolidation of processes from the regional sales offices to the Corporate office to drive process standardization, review of key business processes to assess risks and controls & cost optimization projects.

The Successful Candidate - You must be a Degree qualified with CA (first attempt) and/or MBA from a tier 1 B-School. CA+MBA candidates will be highly preferred. At least 5-7 years relevant experience, preferably in a fortune 500 FMCG environment, with a diverse portfolio of experience in 2-3 areas of Finance. You should have spent some years with the Big 4 audit firms during your article-ship or otherwise. Excellent project management skills are a must. Good communication, results driven approach and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment will go a long way for a successful application.
